How
do I measure my dog for Muttluks? |

Place
your dog’s paw on a blank piece of paper. Trace the
front paw and measure the length from the back of the
pad to the tip of the longest toenail. Refer to the sizing
chart for sizes by measurements.

What
is the difference between the two models of Muttluks? |

Fleece
Lined Muttluks feature a warm fleece lining with a waterproof
exterior fabric. They are predominantly for winter use.

All
Weather Muttluks feature breathable waterproof fabric
with no fleece lining. They can be worn all year round
for protection from heat or cold. |

Will
the boots stay on? |

Yes.
Muttluks have a self-tightening strap which cinches the boot
shut and ensures the boots can be fastened snuggly. So long
as the straps are adequately tightened and you have the correct
size, Muttluks will stay on. The most common reason for dog
boots falling off is incorrect size. |

How
long does a set of Muttluks last? |

The
durability of Muttluks varies depending on the dog and the type
of use. Boots wear out most quickly on dry concrete and least
quickly on snow. A dog with an uneven gait, or which shuffles
his/her paws or drags a paw will wear the boots more quickly.
Many dogs have worn their Muttluks for over three years. |

dog shakes his paws or stands still when I first put on his
boots. Is this normal? |

Yes,
this is normal. This only happens the first time your
dog wears the boots and is not accustom to them yet. |

How
long will my dog take to get used to his Muttluks? |
| |
Your
dog will get used to his/her Muttluks very quickly. To accustom
your dog to Muttluks, place the boots on the dog, ensure the
size is correct, then, take him/her directly outside. Within
2 or 3 minutes of walking your dog should be fully accustomed
to the Muttluks. Your dog will feel relief from the cold, salt
or heat and immediately appreciate his/her Muttluks. |
