Helps New York Search and Rescue Dogs |

| On
September 12, 2001 Muttluks received a call from the New York
Police Department (NYPD) requesting Muttluks for the NYPD’s
Canine Search and Rescue (SAR) Unit. The glass and debris made
it particularly hazardous to the dogs’ exposed paws, in
the course of carrying out their duties. Muttluks responded
by donating over 800 sets. |

In the midst of all the chaos and grief sometimes we forget
what needs to be done and who needs to be taken care of. Being
so far away from the disasters as you and I are it seemed there
was not much we could do. Your company overcame this barrier
however, your generous donation, while it may seem insignificant
to you was a generous contribution.
I just wanted to write and say Thank you for your generosity
in our time of need.
In the past several weeks a saying has become very popular to
unite us all together, that is "God Bless America",
but I say God Bless the world and especially Canada and Muttluks
Inc."

"I
work for U.S. Customs and am currently assigned to the FEDEX
hub in Memphis TN. I came across a shipment today that I thought
everyone would be interested in.
The shipment was from Muttluks in Toronto, Canada. It was 800
sets of dog boots donated by Muttluks to the NYPD Canine unit
in the search at the site of the World Trade Centre.
Way to go Muttluks! The people and the dog lovers in the US
say THANK YOU."
